NaNoWriMo Here I Come

Possible Retreat Cover Blurry Background With WordsLast Wednesday, the 28th of October, I finished the first edit of Retreat! Yay!!!!! Now my mom is going to have a look see at my work. I’m sure there will be problems, (spotted one before she started to read) but Retreat is now a step closer to publication.

Best of all, I can now focus my writing energies on Stronger than the Sword, my NaNoWriMo project, which I’m absolutely pumped about. I feel that I have a great message, but of course, there will probably be days where I doubt the manuscript and myself, then again, that’s normal.

November starts tomorrow and I finished the first edit just in time. NaNoWriMo, here I come!

Good luck everybody,

NaNoWriMo Project

So, this year for NaNoWriMo I was going to write the third book in the Boy Buglers Series, but plans have changed. 🙂

I had this idea for a futuristic, medieval, dystopian. I’ve only ever read one dystopian, soooo, it’ll be interesting to see how this’ll work. Right now it is titled Stronger than the Sword.

So far I have some basic plot points, the interior conflict for the main character, as well as names and the beginning character sketches for my two most important characters.

October is the preparation month and then November will be the writing month. Though I might not finish the rough draft in a single month. Especially, if I make it a full length novel! (50,000 or more words I believe)

I also need to begin the edits on Retreat, but I’ll have to see if I can do both projects. If I can’t, Retreat may have to be put off until later.

How about all of you guys? Do you have an idea for your book this year? Have you begun plotting and figuring out the characters? I would love to hear about your projects in the comments below.

Happy NaNoWriMo, it’s just one month away!

Writing for His glory,

Retreat Update

Possible Retreat Cover Blurry Background With WordsToday I finished the rough draft of RetreatHurray! I am now going to take a break from this story for a week or two, before starting the editing process.

As of right now, this book is a tad more than 70,000 words, we’ll see what it’ll look like after editing!

Lord willing, this book should be published some time in 2016, hopefully before this time next year.

Keep writing for His glory!
